A small cuboid box built on a plywood carcass. The exterior is veneered in Santos rosewood, finished with a chequer banding to the corners. The interior is veneered in ash.

FINISH: Melamine lacquer

CARE: Avoid extremes of heat; avoid exposing the box to prolonged dampness. Can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Polish occasionally with a good quality beeswax polish.
Wood is a natural product; the material used to construct the box has been selected to give the best stability consistent with its decorative aspect. Highly decorative boxes are more likely to exhibit some movement at joints or between veneers. In a centrally heated environment the box may show signs of cyclical movement following the heating / non-heating seasons.
